The Finalists

By now, you are probably all sick and tired of Valentines.
Below are the finalists.
I'm having them printed as mini moos.
They are 28mm by 70mm cards - tie a lollipop to 'em and my work is done.

(I did warn you that I would be posting random crap. I suppose I should have been clear that it will be repetitive, random crap)

Fanciful Stories (4) The Bat and Eagle Kings

They just keep coming ...

I am the Bat King here to fight the evil Eagle King.
If I win, I can get the powers to be an eagle; because eagles have better powers than bats because they have sharp beaks and bats don’t.
And I won, because I threw a big huge enormous huge rock and then took his powers away.
Then I lived happily ever after.

Fanciful Stories (3) - The Karate Master and His View of Sportsmanship

(click on image to see larger)

I was playing against a black belt and I put a karate punch on him and he got hurt. One day I did the green belt; I hit him with the karate jump. Then he was 18 and I was 19; and he got hurt and went to the hospital. I took his karate trophy. Then I grew up to be a really really good karate player.

A Tooth Named Princess

Am I the only one unaware that there are "6 Year Molars"?
I knew there were baby teeth, 12 year molars, and false teeth; but never had I come across 6 year molars ... until the day before yesterday.
B came to me and said that something felt funny at the back of her teeth - I look inside and there is the bud of a new molar peeking out at me. WoW!
B and S were very excited about this development.
The next morning, B informs P that she has named her tooth ... Princess.
When B got on the bus, she told P that he needed to give her an extra hug and kiss ... for Princess.

Because I was unaware of the 6 year molar phenomenon, I did what I always do and googled it.
I found this informing, and somewhat disturbing, animation.
The 3D Mouth I guess its the part when they start to fall out and come in at the same time that looks a bit ... creepy.

Fanciful Stories (2) - The Snow Princess

Over the Christmas break the kids busied themselves, and me, by dressing in costumes, having their picture taken, selecting a fantasy background, and writing a "story" about their image. Below is the second in a series of fanciful stories by S and B.

Once upon a time there was a snow princess that was ice-skating and she found a magical snowflake. And the magical snowflake told her that her mom and dad were in the sky and she thought it was terrible because the ruler of the sky might kill then. Then she skated to the castle of snow and she saw her grandmother waving to her at the door. Her grandmother thought she was going to the sky, but she wasn’t; she went to her grandmother and told her something. Then she went to her room and saw her cat fluffy and her neighbor’s door was barking. His name is Bobo because he does lots of funny stuff. Then she flew through the chimney to the sky. When she was in the sky she saw the evil ruler of the sky. He almost hit her with his dark laser. She flew really fast. The she saw her mother and father locked up in jail. She tried to find the key and then she freed them. She killed the evil ruler of the sky.

Fanciful Stories (1) - The Young Pirate

Over the Christmas break the kids busied themselves, and me, by dressing in costumes, having their picture taken, selecting a fantasy background, and writing a "story" about their image. Below is the first installment.

One time I, Sean, was on a boat and then the boat crashed into a rock and sunk. And I was the only one to jump out and land by the treasure. Then, here came Jack Sparrow against Sean. Then the treasure and all the knight costumes in the world came alive. And I jumped on Jack Sparrow’s back and he sunk and died.
